Shannon Doherty Joins Cast Of TV Land's "Heathers" Reboot

“Veronica, why are you pulling my d*ck?”

Shannen Doherty revealed she's joined the cast of the upcoming Heathers reboot that's coming to TV Land next year.

Doherty, of course, played Heather Duke, a member of the mean-girls clique that ruled Westerburg High School in the original movie.

“Sneak peek from the #Heathers set... jealous much?” she wrote on Instagram, with a photo depicting her wearing the same red scrunchie her character wor in the 1988 original.

The 1988 cult classic starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater as nihilistic teens squaring off against the most popular girls in school.

The new version is set in the modern day with a new set of Heathers: Heather McNamara is a black lesbian, Heather Duke is a male who identifies as gender-queer, and Heather Chandler is plus-sized.

Like American Horror Story, it'll be an anthology, with a different setting and clique each season.

Though details about Doherty’s role are scarce, TV Land told The Hollywood Reporter she'll play a “pivotal, unnamed character.”

We're thrilled to see Shannon, who been battling breast cancer since 2015, back at work.
