Watch the First Trailer for Freeform's Gay Valentine's Day Rom-Com

And in that moment, we were all wild about Harry.

The first full trailer for Freeform's Valentine's Day gay rom-com is here, and we're already just wild about Harry.

In the minute-long sneak peek at The Thing About Harry, viewers meet Sam, a jaded gay Chicagoan who embarks on a road trip back to his small Missouri hometown for an engagement party. Sam is played by Grey's Anatomy star Jake Borelli, who came out as gay in 2018 shortly after his Grey's character, surgical intern Levi Schmitt, had a coming-out story arc.

This is a rom-com, of course, so Sam begins to feel an unlikely spark between him and Harry (Niko Terho), his high school nemesis who—surprise!—also appears to be queer. He's also hot as hell but apparently "so not boyfriend material." Yikes.

As NewNowNext reported last November, The Thing About Harry is directed and co-produced by OG Queer as Folk star Peter Paige, who also makes a small cameo in the film.

"It’s been an honor to partner with Freeform in making great television with LGBTQ+ characters as leads," Paige and his co-producers said in a statement. "True equality can only be achieved when you see yourself reflected in the movies, music and stories that paint our culture."

Will Sam and Harry seal the deal after all? We can't say for sure, but we can tell you we're on the side of Sam's friend Stasia (GLOW's Britt Baron), who urges her pal to "get back out there and throw yourself at the hot piece of man-ass." An ally!

The Thing About Harry premieres Saturday, February 15, at 8/7c on Freeform. Watch the full trailer below.
