Broadway veteran Shoshana Bean has released an acoustic cover of "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman. Celebrated dancer-choreographer Travis Wall conceived, produced, directed, and choreographed the inspirational new music video.

Wall, who recently choreographed a Stars on Ice routine for out Olympian Adam Rippon, is most widely known for his Emmy-winning work on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance.

In the "This Is Me" video, Wall, his handsome face and bare torso marked with homophobic slurs and other insults, dances through the pain until those hateful words are replaced by words of empowerment.

"Fag. Unworthy. Small. Reckless. Invisible. Failure. Weak. Sinner. Vile. Homo. A few words that have been used against me," Wall writes on Instagram. "Message is simple, take something negative and turn it into something positive. Bold. Worthy. Strong. Safe. Standout. Champion. Brave. Survivor. Beautiful. Perfect."

Fun fact: Bean, one of the most memorable Elphabas in Broadway's Wicked, actually recorded the original demo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's "This Is Me" about three years ago. The song went on to win a Golden Globe and snag an Academy Award nomination.

Greatest Showman star Keala Settle, who ultimately sang the song in the movie musical, also performed it at the Oscars ceremony.

Proceeds from downloads and streams of Bean's cover will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
