RuPaul might be dripping in diamonds on the latest cover of Vanity Fair, but MTV is taking her back to her roots.

Picture it: The year is 1993 and RuPaul is reigning supreme with her No. 1 dance hit, "Supermodel." So what does she do with all that coin pouring in from the single's success? She's goin to the mall, honey!

MTV News recently uploaded a vintage video in which they accompany Mutha Ru to a New Jersey mall for an afternoon of shopping and sashaying. None of our Friday night mall trips were ever this much fun.

Some of the most iconic moments from the segment include the queen of all queens working the runway in a toy store, buying a "Supermodel" cassette, and asking everyone to "say love"—16 years before demanding the girls do so on the Drag Race main stage.

We're suddenly in the mood for an Orange Julius.
