It Looks Like Grace Is Back On The Market In The "Will & Grace" Revival

Will Harry Connick Jr. be M.I.A.?

Every day is another day closer to the Will & Grace revival, which is set to premiere Sept. 28 on NBC. We are still two months away from the new season, but luckily series co-creator Max Mutchnick has been sharing some behind-the-scenes details about the new season—including a possible update about Grace's love life.

When we last left Grace (Debra Messing) she had re-married her ex-husband, Leo (Harry Connick Jr.), and the two were raising their baby together.

But in a script from the new season, Karen (Megan Mullally) is still after Grace about her fashion choices—and how she needs to start dating again or Grace is going to "shrivel up and close down there."

This single page leads us to so many questions: What happened to Leo? Was Connick too busy with his talk show that he couldn't shoot the new season? Or did the writers just think it was funnier to have Grace be a single gal on the town again?

And will Grace ever wear something that Karen approves of?

Sadly, most of these questions probably will not be answered until the season premiere, but in addition to script pages Mutchnick has also been documenting behind-the-scenes activity like the building of the sets for Grace's design studio and Will's apartment .

Mutchnick even posted a video from outside of the soundstage where the revival is being shot—complete with a giant sign for the series.

Ah, it's good to be home.

The new batch of episodes will reunite the original cast along with creators Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will serve as showrunners. James Burrows, who helmed every episode of the original run, will return to direct. NBC had originally ordered a 10-episode ninth season, but added two additional episodes—for an hourlong Christmas episode.

Will & Grace returns Sept. 28 on NBC.
