Everything We Know About the New Season of “Will & Grace”

Anastasia Beaverhausen returns!

Will & Grace returned to television last year with a revival that was met with rave reviews and ratings that secured it an additional two season pickup from the Peacock Network. With the Season 2 (of the revival, Season 10 in total) premiere just a few weeks away we thought we would lay out everything we know about what's ahead for Will, Grace, Jack, and Karen in the new season.

Will & Grace adds a friend

The sitcom has always been known for it's guest star game, and it continues the tradition in the new batch of episodes with a familiar face to NBC: Friends star David Schwimmer. The actor returns to the sitcom stage to play Grace's new love interest, for a fling that will reportedly last around five episodes.

Chelsea Handler plays a power lesbian

Mary McCormack plays Grace's sister so it's no surprise that McCormack finally convinced her best friend IRL, Chelsea Handler, to guest on the series. Handler will play Donna Zimmer, “a high-powered client of Grace’s who starts dating her bitter sister, Janet (McCormack). The comedian has already filmed her episode so we should look for it early in the new season.

Double the weddings... double the fun?

When we last left the gang, Grace's father (Martin Adler) and Will's mother (Blythe Danner) announced that they were going to get married—which would make Will and Grace brother and sister.😱 Jack also dropped the bombshell that he would be tying the knot with his new lover, Estefan (Brian Jordan Alvarez). Will either of the couples make it down the aisle?

The return of Anastasia Beaverhausen!

Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick posted a picture on Twitter of Karen disguised as her alter-ego, Anastasia Beaverhausen. We can't wait to hear about what she's been up to all of these years...

We know the titles of the first seven episodes

Thanks to a picture on Sean Hayes' Instagram account, we know the titles of the first half of the new season. Note that the script binder says "in production order," so they might not air in this order, but we are particularly intrigued by the episodes "Where in the World is Karen Walker?" and "Grace's Secret." Hmmm...

Grace gets into politics

The revival does not shy away from politics (the season premiere took place in the White House, after all), and in a photo of Debra Messing from the sitcom set, you can see she is wearing a "Vote for Grace Adler" pin. Adler/Walker 2020? They've got our vote.

The cast and crew still love each other after all of these years

Messing celebrated her 50th birthday while filming the new season and the cast, crew, and studio audience all sang her "Happy Birthday" during a surprise birthday celebration.

October 4 can't come soon enough. In the meantime, catch Will & Grace every weekday on Logo, and check out an exclusive sneak peek at the new season's poster below:
