RuPaul may have caused a bit of a stir over a recent interview that found the world's most famous drag queen acknowledging her love for the word "tranny," the same word that landed Lance Bass in hot water when he used it during an appearance on Access Hollywood.
"It's ridiculous! It's ridiculous!... I love the word "'tranny,'" Ru said. "And I hate the fact that [Lance] apologized. I wish he would have said, 'F-you, you tranny jerk!'"
Hopefully Ru will be spared the public shaming Lance received, with the singer eventually going so far as to write a lengthy open letter on Huffington Post to atone for his word choice.
Ru also talked about the new season of Drag Race, which will premiere on Logo January 30, saying: "This new season is interesting because it's so influenced by the Gaga-esque movement of today. And a lot of the kids are so not afraid to be sort of crunchy or monstery or moist -- or add other elements to their drag style. It's very interesting."
