Adele Crashes Drag Show at NYC Gay Bar With Jennifer Lawrence

Hello!

"See how I leave with every Pieces of you, don't underestimate the things that I will do."

A Grammy winner and an Oscar winner walk into a gay bar... wait, no joke, that really was Adele and Jennifer Lawrence who popped by Pieces last night in New York City!

The gal pals understandably stole the spotlight during drag queen Brita Filter's show, where the stars reportedly played some sort of dancing-drinking game with members of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus.

"Hi, my name’s Adele," the British singer told the crowd, as if they didn't know, modestly introducing herself as "a stay-at-home mum." When Brita asked if the married lady was still ready to mingle and have a great time with the gays, Adele responded, "Fucking obviously!"

At one point Adele loudly teased JLaw about her recent engagement to art dealer boyfriend Cooke Maroney, which the Hunger Games star yelled "has nothing to do with my drinking abilities!"

Needless to say, Gay Twitter™ was there for it—even if they were having FOMO and saying "hello" from the other side of town.

Adele, a vocal LGBTQ ally, has been known to pull drag queens and gay couples up on stage during her concerts. Last year the Grammy winner got ordained so she could marry her friends, comedian Alan Carr and Paul Drayton, in her Los Angeles backyard.

New York City Gay Men’s Chorus' annual sing-along extravaganza, Big Gay Sing, is this weekend at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts with special guest Peppermint.
