Bent-Con 2013: Gay Gamers, Cosplay Cuties And More (PHOTOS)

Bent-Con, the annual LGBT comic-con, beamed into Burbank, California, over the weekend, drawing thousands of artists, writers, performers and fans.

Now in its fourth year, the gathering welcomed attendees including Blue Ranger David Yost, X-Men artist Phil Jimenez, suspense writer Christopher Rice and Kerry O’Quinn, the screenwriter of the upcoming Robert Rodriguez movie Dragworm. Gay geeks attended signings and screenings and sat in on panels like "The Kink in Wonder Woman’s Golden Lasso," "Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Panel Ia All The World" and "How to Speak Dirty in Esperanto."

"Bent-Con’s mission is to create an active and supportive space for LGBTQ creative community," Viktor Kerney, Bent-Con's Director of Outreach, told The Huffington Post. "It’s the fastest-growing convention supporting LGBTQ geek culture. It is also a celebration of the LGBTQ contributions to the science fiction, fantasy and horror genres seen in comics, movies, games, literature and technology."
