Just when you thought John Mayer could no longer surprise you with who he’s hooking up with, this happens.

It has been officially announced today that the soulful crooner and serial non-monogamist will be getting with our favorite out R&B star and VMA performer Frank Ocean on Saturday night.

On Saturday Night Live, that is. But who knows?

"SNL this weekend. Me and the bro John Mayer" tweeted Ocean, who was already slated to be the musical guest on the September 15 premier of the comedy show’s 38th season.

The two have worked together in the past--most recently for the tracks “Pyramid” and “White” on Ocean’s most recent album Channel Orange--and will probably be working together in the future - as the focus of misleading headlines on  blogs like this one across the land.

So, what might the chances be that these headlines are all true? This gay blogger is willing to bet several gay Zac Efrons and Jon Hamm penises that they totally are.
