Gay Duo Superfruit Celebrates Genderfluidity In "Worth It (Perfect)" Video

Pentatonix members Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying want you to wear what makes you happy.

They are fruitful and their videos multiply.

Hot on the heels of their stylish summer jams “Imaginary Parties” and “Bad 4 Us,” Superfruit has released another new video, "Worth It (Perfect)," that creatively breaks down the gender binary.

The pop duo's latest candy-colored fantasy features talented teen dancers Kaycee Rice and Sage Rosen, who gleefully dance together after choosing gender-nonconforming costumes. Superfruit vocalists Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying teased the video by posting photos of themselves in the same suit and pink dress.

Grassi and Hoying are also founding and current gay members of the Grammy-winning a cappella quintet Pentatonix. "With Superfruit, it’s a little more gay-friendly and a lot more open, more sexual, more liberated," Grassi recently told Out when comparing the two groups.

"Worth It (Perfect)" is a standout track on Future Friends, Superfruit’s new two-part debut studio album. Future Friends—Part One is available now, with Future Friends—Part Two to follow September 15.

Since the duo formed in 2013, Superfruit's videos have amassed more than 350 million views.
