Grindr Travel Awards Go To…

The fantastically libidinous folks at Grindr, who arguably have put the hottest men in the world at all of our collective fingertips, just released their first annual travel awards, and the rrreal shock of it isn’t the winners, it’s the categories. Best city to get married? Wh-Huh? Do they know something we don’t about who’s using this “tool”? And what does Gayest City mean? The place with the most Grindr gays online all the time? Is that a good thing? Or should New York, the winner for that one (and the NNN Travel Award winner in 2011), feel a little dissed about being the city that needs Grindr the most? The category that’s not a shocker is “hottest grindr gays.” And the winners make sense, too. If you haven’t been to Tel Aviv you’re a fool.

So how does Joel Simkhai, Founder and CEO of Grindr explain the list: “Grindr users have their finger on the pulse of gay culture and destinations.” Oh, is that what they have their fingers on?
