Matt Bomer has won the hearts of many playing the suave, gorgeous and impeccably dressed Neal Caffrey on White Collar. For his new role however, in the upcoming Magic Mike, Bomer is ditching the three-piece suits and fedora for something a little more revealing -- a thong.

The problem is  Bomer has never worn a thong, so he had some minor trouble when he first had to get into costume.

“I had never worn a thong before, so the first time I tried it, I put it on wrong and my junk didn’t fit in it,” the actor said in a recent interview. “I had to call a wardrobe person in and go, ‘Something’s wrong with my thong, you guys. I think we’re gonna have to figure this out,’ and they’re like, ‘Uh, yeah your legs are in the wrong holes.’ So, that was step one.”

Safe to say there are likely many who wish Bomer had not figured out how to get that thong on the right way.

As for his character in the upcoming male stripper film, which costars Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Alex Pettyfer, it appears he will be more of a doctor type in his stage life.
