Digital Drag Fest Returns With Two Weekends Full of Fierceness

Catch your favorite "Drag Race" queens May 21–23 and 28–30.

With more and more Americans getting vaccinated, gay bars and other queer spaces are starting to re-open, but there’s one good reason to stay home: Producer Entertainment Group’s second annual Digital Drag Fest, featuring some of the biggest names from RuPaul’s Drag Race and the world of drag. Think of it like DragCon weekend — remember that? — but on your computer.

The queens performing the digital house down boots will be Abby OMG, Alaska Thunderfuck, Cheryl Hole, Denali, Divina De Campo, Ginger Minj, Jackie Beat & Sherry Vine, Jackie Cox, Jan Sport, Jimbo, Jinkx Monsoon, Jujubee, Latrice Royale, Manila Luzon, Miz Cracker, Monét X Change, Nicky Doll, Sederginne, Sharon Needles, Tina Burner, Trixie Mattel, and Utica. They will perform over the course of two weekends: May 21–23 and May 28–30.

For all you Drag Race fans out there, this year’s Digital Drag Fest brings queens from Drag Race U.K. and Canada’s Drag Race together onto one extra fierce lineup. Fans will also get to see some of their Drag Race Season 13 faves like Denali, Tina Burner, and Utica in action. Tickets start at $15, but there are also VIP and meet-and-greet packages available.

“So excited to be bringing DDC back for the DDF while we are all in the PannyD,” said Drag Race U.K. Season 1 contestant Divina de Campo. “We might not be together physically, but let’s party with each other’s celestial bodies via satellite.”

Drag Race Season 5 winner, Alaska, adds: “While we are well on our way to getting back to a sense of normalcy, traveling to see your favorite entertainer and gathering in person to see a show is still limited. Luckily through the miracle of technology, we can bring together an audience from all over the world, and connect through our love of drag, music, and creativity.”

Digital Drag Fest 2021 is so important right now, because it brings your favorite drag artists right to your living room,” purrs Jujubee. “At-home entertainment is crucial at a time where people yearn for moments of joy. Digital Drag Fest 2021 does just that; it spreads JOY! I call it, ’DRAG MAGIC!.'”

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
